General Media Release, Earnings Disclaimer, Copyright, and Confidentiality Agreement (DIGITAL EVENT)
THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING
In consideration of my approved attendance at the Bizniversity® MoneyFest LIVE 2024 International Women’s Conference (the “Event”), I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. RIGHT TO PHOTOS & VIDEO:
I hereby expressly grant Bizniversity® and its representatives (collectively, the “Organization”) the right to record, use, reproduce, and distribute my image, likeness, and voice (including any still image, video recording, or other media now known or developed in the future), in connection with or as part of any presentation, product, publication, or any other professional endeavors. This permission extends to the advertising and promotion of the Event and other related programs, in perpetuity. I understand that these images and recordings may be used for commercial, educational, or informational purposes, and I shall not be entitled to any royalties, fees, or other compensation in connection with such use. I waive any claims that the use of my image or voice as described herein portrays me in a derogatory manner or false light.
2. OWNERSHIP OF MATERIALS:
I agree that Bizniversity® shall have sole ownership of all materials created during the Event, including but not limited to audio recordings, video footage, presentations, and documentation (“Materials”). I hereby waive any rights of copyright or ownership in or to any of the Materials in which my image, likeness, or voice appears and assign any such rights to Bizniversity®. I also waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or any promotional content that may use these images or recordings.
3. EARNINGS DISCLAIMER:
The Event will feature presentations on income growth strategies and financial empowerment. I understand that Bizniversity® does not guarantee or imply that attending this Event will result in financial success. Earnings and income statements made during the Event represent the experiences and opinions of individual presenters and participants. My results may vary and will depend on many factors, including my own efforts, commitment, and resources.
4. DUE DILIGENCE:
I agree that I am responsible for conducting my own due diligence when considering financial or business decisions based on information presented at the Event. All information, products, and services shared by the Organization or at the Event should be independently verified by my own qualified professionals before I act on this or any information. I acknowledge that Bizniversity® does not provide any legal, financial, or other professional advice.
5. RESPONSIBILITY FOR OWN ACTIONS:
I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the success or failure of my own business decisions, strategies, and actions. Bizniversity® is not liable for any financial or business outcome resulting from the information shared at the Event.
6. COPYRIGHT AND CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE:
The materials and resources provided at the Event, whether delivered in digital, printed, or any other format, are the exclusive, confidential, and proprietary intellectual property of Bizniversity®. These materials are intended for my personal use as an Event Participant and may not be stored, reproduced, shared, or transmitted in any form without the express written permission of Bizniversity®. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of these materials will result in immediate termination of my access to the Event and may result in legal action.
7. LIABILITY WAIVER AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK:
I understand and acknowledge that participation in this Event, whether online or in person, carries certain risks. I agree to voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of physical, emotional, or financial harm that may occur during or as a result of my participation. I release and discharge Bizniversity®, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event.
8. VIDEOCONFERENCE PARTICIPATION:
If I participate in the Event via videoconference, I agree not to display any copyrighted image, logo, or other intellectual property that I do not own. If I display my own image, logo, or property, I hereby grant the Organization a royalty-free and irrevocable license to use these images or logos in the Event recordings.
9. CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT:
I understand that discussions, presentations, and other content shared during the Event may include proprietary and confidential business strategies, methodologies, and trade secrets of Bizniversity® and other participants. I agree to keep all such information confidential and not to disclose it to third parties without express permission. Any unauthorized use or sharing of confidential information may result in legal action.
